Women's Association of Morristown Medical Center Announces New Executive Committee Officers for

MORRISTOWN, NJ, October 15, 2015– The Women’s Association of Morristown Medical Center (WAMMC), with a strong,123-year history of providing financial support to Morristown Medical Center to enable it to respond to the changing health care needs of the community, today announced the executive committee officers for 2015-2016.

The 2015-16 Women’s Association of Morristown Medical Center executive committee officers are as follows:

PRESIDENT: Mary Courtemanche

VICE PRESIDENT: Nancy Alfano

VICE PRESIDENT: Prudence Pigott

VICE PRESIDENT: Patty Mullens

VICE PRESIDENT: Linda Reeves

SECRETARY: Lynne Rosenfeld

TREASURER: Kathy Christie

ASSISTANT TREASURER: Susan Kennedy

PAST OFFICER: Anne Fritz

The WAMMC Board consists of nine executive officers, along with 36 board members repre-senting 23 committees.

Incoming president Mary Courtemanche has served WAMMC for seven years, acting as its Special Holidays chair from 2008-2013, VP Hospital Liaison chair from 2012-2014, and VP Healing Services & Hospital Liaison chair from 2014-2015.

“I am proud and honored to be the new president of WAMMC, comprised of a dynamic group of talented and philanthropic women,” Courtemanche said. “I look forward to continuing our vision of enhancing the ability of Morristown Medical Center to promote healthier communities by providing a volunteer experience that engages and inspires our members to contribute with passion.”

“Mary comes to the Presidency with wonderful leadership experience within the Association. Along with her team, I am confident that she will continue to carry on the WAMMC mission to support Morristown Medical Center in providing quality health care to the community,” said Dannette Merchant, immediate past president of WAMMC.

Professionally, Courtemanche served the community as a teacher, having taught at The Peck School in Morristown for over 15 years. She also served on the Board of Trustees there for three years.
